The government wants to stop the spread of communism in Asia, and is expanding the war. The youth of the nation are protesting by evading the draft, and are holding constant protests and demonstrations. Unbeknownst to each other, two groups are planning a coup, of sorts. One group is headed by the sitting president of the United States, while the second is led by a senator who plans on being the next president. Both groups have a common bondapatriotism. In a bold move, the president secretly has the draft evaders throughout North America arrested and transported to a military camp, where he has plans for them. When the arrests are announced, the second group has second thoughts and feels the two groups could act as one to accomplish the turnabout of the nation. The president asks for a mandate to suspend the Constitution in order to change the everyday lives of Americans. Years of unrealistic court decisions can be reversed. Ludicrous rules can be changed to realistic and just levels. The president is called both Hitler and Savior by many as he tries to reinvent the United States back to a true world power. A part of the draft dodgers are trained to fight for their country while acommon sensea becomes an everyday phrase in our culture. Imagine the changes that are possible when all of these elements blend together.
